Dining

The Wantilan Restaurant
The unique setting of the resort's restaurant, alongside the beach , set high above the sea, provides beautiful views of the ocean. Resting comfortably under a large thatch roof the restaurant has no walls, allowing the wind to wash gently through as diners relax and feast on a wide choice of the freshest and tastiest cuisine. Traditional artwork combines with rattan furniture and teakwood tables created by local craftsmen to provide an airy and comfortable dining environment.

Breakfast, lunch and supper are served daily as an Ala Carte menu with selections such as Indonesian fusion and light western cuisine. Seafood is drawn daily from the local ocean, fruit is purchased from local farmers, and only the freshest of ingredients are used in every dish. The restaurant's special dessert menu changes daily and is a highpoint of the dining experience.

With captivating views of the Bali Sea, set just above the slate-hued beach, the open air Wantilan restaurant, under the creative direction of Chef Danny Lau, our resident Sous Chef, offers exciting, flavorful regional and international cuisine.

To ensure absolute freshness, Chef Danny constantly refines the versatile menu, adapting dishes to each catch of the day and using seasonal ingredients available from local farmers in Bali. His visits to organic farms in Bali searching for the right coffees, produce and spices have established a web of valued relationships. Organic products, as available, are the first choice ingredients.

Embracing the philosophy of Spa Village and the warm hospitality of the Balinese people, the food at Wantilan is lovingly prepared. The plethora of indigenous fruits and flavors is the basis for an extensive exotic drinks menu, not to be missed.
